Updated COVID-19 Restrictions 5/15/20
To stagger and reduce staff interaction our hours to 7:30 to 3:30 Monday through Friday. Absolutely no exiting your vehicle if you arrive before we open and no material should be left after hours. Customers and Vendors must use a service window and intercom and are restricted from the office at all times. If you see someone at the service window please wait in your vehicle. Except when necessary to off load material, only one occupant may exit a vehicle at a time and a full vehicles distance must be maintained from other customers and employees at all times.
When in contact with the public our employees will be wearing masks. We would appreciate the same by our customers if you will be in their work space. Please have all paperwork completed prior to arrival to limit 2 way paperwork.
Large Truck Scales are open IF the following restrictions are met.
Customers with steel, lite iron, cars, or other items of a large enough quantity, and capable of being weighed on the large truck scale, that they will offload themselves or are can be offload with equipment, are processing as usual. Please always maintain a vehicles distance from others.
Small Scales operating by pre-authorization Only – Call 223-7917 to discuss restrictions. This applies to items such as copper, brass, wire, batteries, aluminum rims, and other items in small quantities requiring manual weighing and not processed in the lower yard.
Currently we are only able to service those customers whose material requires no in person contact or physical handling by our employees. A list of questions will be asked to obtain pre- authorization. Customers having an account and a large quantity of presorted material needing to be processed on the small scales may inquire about receiving pre authorization PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. Absolutely no material will be physically handled or sorted by our employees and at no time should they be approached less than a vehicles length. Unfortunately those customers who have small quantities of materials requiring multiple weigh-ins on the small scales can not be assisted as this would require in person contact. If you don’t meet our restrictions, contact us at 223-7917 and we can provide you with a reference for a vendor who picks material up.
Markets continue to be unstable with little room for pricing on most every material. Every effort will be made to update the pricing pages on our website, however prices are subject to change.
